《植物生态学杂志》(JPE)是一本双月刊的同行评议的植物生态学杂志。JPE是生态学家展示研究成果和讨论植物及其与生物和非生物环境相互作用这一广阔领域的挑战性问题的重要媒介。在JPE上发表的原创研究论文、综述和简短交流将涵盖植物生态学的各个方面，包括植物生态生理学、种群生态学、群落生态学、生态系统生态学和景观生态学以及保护生态学、进化生态学和理论生态学。JPE收录了植物生态学前沿领域(包括全球变化、入侵物种、生物多样性和生态系统功能等)的专题，并由该领域的主要生态学家撰写评论。

Journal of Plant Ecology ( JPE ) is a bi-monthly, peer-reviewed journal of plant ecology. JPE serves as an important medium for ecologists to present research findings and discuss challenging issues in the broad field of plants and their interactions with biotic and abiotic environment. Original research articles, reviews and short communications published in JPE will cover all aspects of plant ecology, including plant ecophysiology, population ecology, community ecology, ecosystem ecology and landscape ecology as well as conservation ecology, evolutionary ecology, and theoretical ecology. JPE includes special issues/features focusing on the frontiers (including global change, invasive species, biodiversity and ecosystem functioning, etc.) in plant ecology with reviews written by the leading ecologists in the field.
