Multibody System Dynamics provides a unique single vehicle for reporting significant developments in all areas of multibody system dynamics. The journal explores theoretical and computational methods in rigid and flexible multibody systems, their applications, and experimental procedures used to validate the theoretical foundations.The journal’s research papers address the issues of new formulations, solution algorithms, computational efficiency, analytical and computational kinematics, synthesis, flexibility effects, control, optimization, real-time simulation, parallel computations, workspace and path planning, reliability, and durability. Fields such as vehicle dynamics, aerospace technology, robotics and mechatronics, machine dynamics, crashworthiness, biomechanics, computer graphics, and system identification are also examined when the topic is relevant to multibody system dynamics.
