《结构地质学杂志》出版了关于结构地质学的面向过程的调查报告,使用模拟和数字现场数据、地震反射数据、卫星获得的数据、几何分析、运动学分析、实验室实验、计算机可视化以及各种规模的模拟或数值模型的适当组合。鼓励从流变学、岩石力学、地球物理学、变质学、沉积学、石油地质学、经济地质学、地球动力学、行星地质学、构造学和新构造学等方面作出贡献,以便对变形过程和系统有更有力的了解。鉴于该学科的视觉特性,以3d或准3d方式描述数据和分析的补充材料,包括使用视频和/或图形摘要,可以显著增强贡献的影响。

The Journal of Structural Geology publishes process-oriented investigations about structural geology using appropriate combinations of analog and digital field data, seismic reflection data, satellite-derived data, geometric analysis, kinematic analysis, laboratory experiments, computer visualizations, and analogue or numerical modelling on all scales. Contributions are encouraged to draw perspectives from rheology, rock mechanics, geophysics,metamorphism, sedimentology, petroleum geology, economic geology, geodynamics, planetary geology, tectonics and neotectonics to provide a more powerful understanding of deformation processes and systems. Given the visual nature of the discipline, supplementary materials that portray the data and analysis in 3-D or quasi 3-D manners, including the use of videos, and/or graphical abstracts can significantly strengthen the impact of contributions.
