人们对结核病(TB)重新燃起的兴趣加快了结核病研究的步伐。结核病已重新调整方向，以便将重点放在基础研究进展上，特别是那些与结核病控制和最终消除有关的研究进展。已经成立了一个杰出的国际编辑委员会，欢迎在免疫学、免疫遗传学、病原学、微生物学、微生物生理学、发病机理、病理学、分子流行病学、诊断、疫苗研制、药物研制和耐药性等领域作出贡献。我们的目标是结核病将发表杰出的同行评议的与结核病有关的生物医学研究。

The resurgence of interest in tuberculosis (TB) has accelerated the pace of TB research. Tuberculosis has been reoriented to allow focus on basic research advances, particularly those with relevance to TB control and eventual elimination. An outstanding international Editorial Board has been assembled and welcomes contributions in the areas of immunology,immunogenetics, pathogenetics, microbiology, microbial physiology, pathogenesis, pathology, molecular epidemiology, diagnostic, vaccine development, drug development and drug resistance. Our intent is that Tuberculosis will publish outstanding peer-reviewed biomedical research relevant to tuberculosis.
