《康复医学杂志》的主要目标是出版原始的科学研究;与康复的医学、心理、社会、经济和技术方面有关的具有普遍信息性的文章;提出观点和辩论主题的文章;以及对讲座和文献的评论。特别是在工作生理学、神经生理学、理疗学、心理学、工作测试和技术辅助的发展等领域,方法论观点受到高度重视。在工业医学领域开展的康复工作受到关注。旨在改善社区残疾人状况的社会学研究和调查已出版。该杂志最初是斯堪的纳维亚康复医学研究论坛。现在所有国家的论文都被考虑在内,今天大约50%的文章来自斯堪的纳维亚以外的其他国家。该杂志成立于1969年,此后每年出版4期。已经出版了38篇补遗。康复医学杂志是由康复基金会所拥有的信息。该基金会由瑞典康复医学和物理医学协会赞助,瑞典医学会的一个专门部门。

The primary object of the Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine is to publish original scientific studies; articles of a generally informative nature concerned with medical, psychological, social, economic and technological aspects of rehabilitation; articles presenting ideas and topics of debate; and reviews of lectures and literature. Great importance is attached to methodologic points, especially in the fields of work physiology, neurophysiology, physiotherapy, psychology, work tests and the development of technical aids. Rehabilitation work carried out within the field of industrial medicine receives attention. Sociological studies and investigations intended to improve the situation of the handicapped in the community are published. The journal was originally a forum for Scandinavian research in rehabilitation medicine. Papers from all countries are now considered and today about 50% of the articles originate from other countries than the Scandinavian. The journal was founded in 1969 and has appeared since then with 4 issues per year. Thirty-eight supplements have been published. Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine is owned by the Foundation Information on Rehabilitation . The Foundation is sponsored by the Swedish Association of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, a specialist section within the Swedish Society of Medicine.
