与欧洲地球科学家和工程师协会和国际沉积学家协会联合出版。《盆地研究》现已出版10年，是一份重要的国际地球科学期刊。该期刊由科学信息研究所(Institute for Scientific Information)覆盖，目前ISI的影响因子为1.422，在所有地质学期刊中排名第七。《盆地研究》发表关于沉积盆地的原始研究论文。该杂志的目的是提供一个新的论坛，讨论从盆地的源头到盆地的沉积中心，在各种各样的构造和气候环境中相互作用的因素。在盆地研究中发表的文章的基本特征是它们对不止一个学科的地球科学家感兴趣。
英文简介
Published in conjunction with the European Association of Geoscientists and Engineers and the International Association of Sedimentologists. Basin Research has now completed its tenth year of publication, and is well established as a major international journal in the earth sciences. It is covered by the Institute for Scientific Information, and now has an ISI Impact Factor of 1.422, ranking it seventh among all journals in geology.Basin Research publishes original research papers on sedimentary basins. The journal aims to offer a new forum for discussion of the interacting elements of basins ranging from their headwaters to their depocentres, in a diverse array of tectonic and climatic settings. The essential feature of articles published in Basin Research is that they are of interest to earth scientists of more than one discipline.
