统计计算和模拟杂志(JSCS)出版与计算机有关或依赖于计算机的统计领域的重要和原创工作。所涉及的领域包括与概率或统计相关的计算机算法、利用模拟技术进行统计推断的研究以及交互式统计系统的实现。JSCS不考虑统计数据在其他领域的应用，除非作为展示使用原始统计数据的例子。被接受的论文最好能吸引统计学家的广泛读者，并激发理论结构的实际应用。

Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation ( JSCS ) publishes significant and original work in areas of statistics which are related to or dependent upon the computer.Fields covered include computer algorithms related to probability or statistics, studies in statistical inference by means of simulation techniques, and implementation of interactive statistical systems.JSCS does not consider applications of statistics to other fields, except as illustrations of the use of the original statistics presented. Accepted papers should ideally appeal to a wide audience of statisticians and provoke real applications of theoretical constructions.
